welcome to my practice!
Accepting Insurance for Virtual Clients Only
Feel more grounded, connected, and at ease—whether we meet in person or online. I offer therapy for adults ready to slow down, tune in, and create meaningful change. In-person sessions are held in Nashville, and my virtual practice is open to adults across Tennessee, including Memphis, Knoxville, and Chattanooga.
Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, trauma, or painful relationship patterns. If you’re not sure where to begin, that’s okay—we’ll move at your pace and explore what’s getting in the way.
My approach is collaborative and compassionate. I use body-centered tools like EMDR and mindfulness, practical strategies from CBT and DBT, and attachment-based therapies to help you set boundaries, process past pain, and feel more like yourself.
My specialties include:
Healing Developmental Trauma
Navigating Relationship Dynamics & Setting Boundaries
Managing Anxiety & Reducing Stress
Building Self-Esteem & Fostering Personal Growth
Coping with Grief & Navigating Loss
about me
I bring a unique blend of creativity, compassion, and directness to each session, allowing me to adapt and respond to your individual needs. By drawing from multiple perspectives and therapeutic approaches, I ensure that our work together is insightful and personalized to your journey. Whether you seek empathy, honest feedback, or a fresh perspective, I’m here to support you with a balanced approach that fosters growth and transformation.
Originally from California, I moved to New York City before settling in Tennessee 30 years ago. After a 10-year career in public relations, I returned to my true calling—helping people thrive. With a bachelor’s degree in psychology from San Jose State University and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Tennessee, I’ve been fortunate to build a deeply fulfilling career in the field I’m most passionate about.
I’ve been married for 31 years and have two sons in their 20s. I find inspiration and peace in nature, art, and community, all of which inspire and ground me in my work. As a lifelong learner, I’m always seeking new ways to grow both personally and professionally. Before starting my solo practice, I worked with Alive Hospice and Vanderbilt Behavioral Health. Today, alongside my practice, I serve on the board of the Nashville Psychotherapy Institute, where I’m dedicated to helping other therapists find connection and support in the community.
